Widemouth Bay

Widemouth Bay beach is separated into two sections; north and south.

This beach is popular with surfers (beginners and the more experienced) and families with young children too. A large expanse of sand at low tide with room for all, although it can become busy during peak times.

Note: whilst dogs are allowed on the southern section of the beach all year round, the northern section has a seasonal ban on dogs from Easter to October!

Widemouth is found off the A39 (from Box's Shop take Leverlake Rd) approximately 2 miles outside of Bude (see map below).
