Things to do in South Cornwall

Golf Courses

The south coast of Cornwall could indeed cover all of Cornwall along it's southern edge, but it is generally classed as from around the Seaton & Looe area on towards Falmouth, and it also includes the Roseland Peninsula.

Enjoying a continual maritime climate, much of south Cornwall rarely see's frost and this makes it ideal for growing food crops, vineyards, etc. As it faces the English Channel the coastline is probably a little less rugged and the sea & waves are somewhat calmer than the north or west. This makes south Cornwall a good holiday spot for those with young children and/or those looking for a more relaxed holiday.

The south coast is often seen as less rugged than the more exposed area's of north & west Cornwall, which is partly due to the fact that it faces the English Channel, rather than facing the might of the Atlantic Ocean head on. Due to it's warmer than average climate, a lot of this area is farmland and supports many a crop; from daffodils to maize to brassica's and more. It is pleasant Cornish countryside to explore at your leisure.
