There is literally something for just about everyone at the Royal Cornwall Show in Wadebridge in north Cornwall. It’s Cornwall's biggest annual event and is packed full of exhibits and activities which offer a lot of entertainment, competition, it's informative, there's plenty of products available and of course, all that’s best in Cornwall's food and farming. The event is held in early June.

Even though the event has been running for well over 200 years now, the aim is still to keep raising the standard. This is indeed a top class agricultural show, which attracts an ever increasing number of animals, which are entered into the hundreds of different classes each year. And year on year people seem to travel from further and further afield in the hope of coming away from the RCS with an award!

Other animal exhibits include dog and goat sections; rare breed classes and more. This is also a top flower show and thriving countryside area. Rabbits, cage birds, cavies - even bees get noticed here! Supporting and promoting Cornish-grown and Cornish-produced food both in the trade section and in the cafes and restaurants.

Main ring entertainment is mounted on a grand scale and the traditional steam fair is a colourful extravaganza; there are stages and avenues alive with music, song and dance. You can come to the Royal Cornwall Show with a single-minded ambition to buy a tractor or even a car my birds! Here is probably the only place where you will see them all on display.

Other exhibits include a flower show, steam fair, street theatre, motor fair, scarecrow trail, blacksmiths competition, music & entertainment, green Cornwall show, Westcountry arts, woodlands competition, Womens Institute, Cornwall food and farming, Young Farmers....the list goes on and on...!
