Porthluney cove is a privately owned sandy beach that forms part of the historic Caerhays estate, not far from Mevagissey and Gorran Haven.

There is good access, even for the disabled or wheelchair users, and parking is right next to the beach. There is a small shop selling ice creams and spades.

The beach doesn't have lifeguard cover but is known to be quite a safe environment for those with younger children.

Head past the Lost Gardens of Heligan from the B3273 and on towards Gorran. Caerhays is about 1 mile past Kestle.
