Located on the north Cornish coastline between Rock and Port Isaac near the mouth of the Camel Estuary. Very popular beach in the summer with surfers of all abilities checking out the surf. Plenty of visitor attractions and things to do in the area (see below).


Dolphins may sometimes be spotted in the bay and the coastline north of Polzeath is a good area for seeing many types of birds including corn buntings and puffins. More information on Polzeath can be found here.


Polzeath was a favourite haunt of the poet laureate, Sir John Betjeman and he is buried at St Enodoc Church!
