Paradise Park in west Cornwall has a collection of rare and endangered parrots as well as owls, birds of prey, otters, penguins, and a farm full of animals.

The Park is set around the grounds of a Victorian walled garden, with the vast majority of areas wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Some paths are tarmac, most are gravel and there is grass on the picnic lawn and in the Fun Farm. The shop, café and entrance kiosk are all on level ground, so this attraction makes efforts to look after the less abled visitor.

The JungleBarn indoor play centre has good accessibility, and can be a perfect place for less abled children too.

Paradise Park and the charity based here - The World Parrot Trust - do their utmost to raise awareness and funds for conservation projects around the world. In fact, Paradise Park was given a "Zoo Conservation Award for Excellence" in 1995 by the BBC's Wildlife Magazine.

With over 650 birds there is a stunning collection to see. Plus lots more wildlife as well including Red squrriels, Red pandas, otters and of course some furry friends in the Fun Farm including donkeys, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and more.

There are giant slides, soft play and a special toddlers’ zone with ball fountain. There is a snack bar with daily papers available too, a balcony overlooking the gardens, plus jungle-themed rooms perfect for children's birthday parties .

This attraction has free parking all year round. Value ‘Return Tickets’  available if one day is not enough!
