The coast of west  Cornwall is not only stunningly beautiful, it is home to a fascinating and diverse range of marine wildlife. These trips run amidst the turquoise waters and granite crags of West Penwith, Penzance, the jagged peninsula jutting out of the very south western tip of Britain.

You are welcome to bring children of 6 and over on the Ocean Discovery and children of 3 and over on the Bay Discovery trips. They usually offer children's discounts and family tickets on both trips too. The Discovery Voyage is for people of 12 and over only though.

The further west in Cornwall you are, the better the wildlife sightings particularly with regard to some of the cetaceans and certainly basking sharks. But it's important to remember though that wildlife is wildlife my bewties, and you cannot be guaranteed to see certain animals just because you desperately want them to be there!

Trips could encounter inquisitive grey seals, graceful seabirds or maybe even various species of dolphins and porpoises. Other sightings could include ocean sunfish or even giants such as minke whales, basking sharks and even leatherback turtles!

Having these experiences under sail though gives you the most special encounter possible, the quiet means you can hear the splashes of the gannets as they dive and the whistles of the dolphins as they bowride alongside.

So, if you want to explore the Cornish coastline from a different perspective this might be for you. Head down to Penzance Harbour and book your spot or use the contact details shown at the top left of the page.
