Lostwithiel bridge

Cornish: Lostwydhyel

A very well presented town, Lostwithiel sits astride the River Fowey in mid Cornwall.  The towns most notable buildings are St Bartholomew's Church and Restormel Castle. In fact, it was around the time of Restormel Castle construction (12th century) that Lostwithiel became established.

The town is host to a number of annual cultural activities including an arts and crafts festival, a beer festival, a week long carnival in the summer, food and cider festivals in the October, and a Dickensian evening in December.

Make your way down to the River Fowey and you will find Lostwithiel bridge and a lovely communal bbq area beside the river!
