Healey's Cyder Farm

At Healey's working cyder farm they produce over forty varieties of delicious fruit products.

Take a self guided tour and see how they make their famous range of very strong traditional scrumpys, sparkling ciders, country wines, jams, preserves, brandy and spirits. You can join one of the guided tours too though of course, taking you through the press house, bottlery, jam kitchen, cyder museum, brandy distillery and even the cellars.

In all there are 20 acres scattered with over 3000 trees; leafy orchards that play happy home to seven varieties of traditional apples. At Healey's they leave it to the blustery breezes to pluck the apples from their branches, so that they can be sure all the Healey’s orchard fruit that goes into their tasty creations is as ripe as can be.

Everything is sorted, milled and pressed right here at the farm, and Healeys get through about 1000 tonnes of apples every year..!

The skilled cyder-makers tip their talents into each and every bottle, using their knowledge to blend together the perfect apple combinations and sometimes dreaming up tasty new concoctions along the way.

Kids are entertained here too! Why not take a tractor ride through acres of beautiful fruit and apple orchards in the valley below and let the kids enjoy the friendly farm animal area. Informative guided tours with FREE tastings - say no more!

Dogs: Dogs on leads are welcome in all areas except the restaurant and jam room. Guide dogs are allowed in the restaurant
