Fistral Beach

Fistral is known as the surfing capital of Europe and the beach has many a surf competition throughout the year, regularly visited by international surf stars.

In fact, Fistral is home to an official BSA Surf School (The British Surfing Association National Surfing Centre) so beginners are also made to feel just as welcome here.

As the beach is popular, finding a parking spot close enough to lug your board/gear can sometimes be cumbersome if the carpark closest to the beach is full.

Follow the signs to Fistral from the centre of Newquay (Fore St) and follow Headland Rd to get to the carpark closest to the beach.
