Sea Fishing Trips in Looe

Age group: 10+

Location: SOUTH Cornwall

Contact: nr Looe,

TEL: n/a

If you want to experience the buzz of shark fishing, or spend a day/half day sea fishing, Looe has plenty of options available.

Depending on who you go with, most equipment is normally provided, and you will be guided to best spots by local fishermen who know this area like the back of their hand. Many also have a catch and release system, meaning the animal gets to swim another day and you also don't have to lug a 6ft shark home pureky to impress the wife/kids/friends!

It's quite a popular pastime too. Essentially you are actually immersing yourself deeper into the heart of Looe, and you get to see a side of Cornwall that many don't experience - on the water.

You'll even pick up a few tips on how to improve your fishing, what the locals prefer to use as bait and maybe even a few interesting smuggling tales too!

Trips can be found along the quayside of East Looe, or also from some of the fishing related shops, and you will find something to suit everyone; from a short couple of hours mackerel fishing to full half day & full day excursions.

For those of you who don't fish, there are still plenty of boat trips & excurions; from short trips around St George's Island to return excursions to Polperro and beyond.
