Downderry is just a short distance from Seaton, about 6 miles from Looe in south Cornwall.

There seems to be more rocks than sand here usually, so this is a fantastic spot to explore the tide pools (the technical name for a 'rockpool'!) and learn more about what lives and thrives along the Cornish coastline.

There is some sandy spots, especially towards the east of Downderry, closer to Whitsand Bay and the Rame Peninsula.

Head towards Downderry & Seaton on the B3247 from the A374. There is limited parking, if you cannot find any; your best bet is to probably head westwards towards Seaton and park up there!
