Like adventure? Like the feel of adrenalin pumping around your veins? Well we think you may like this visitor attraction then!

The Zip at Adrenalin Quarry is one of the UK’s biggest ever zip wires; 490m long & 50m high - reaching speeds of up to 40mph! Twin parallel wires cross the flooded depths of the old quarry, sheer cliffs rise on either side. NO NEED TO BOOK and it's suitable for all ages. The Zip is the only place in the UK where you can just turn up and jump. No fuss, no pre-booking.

There is more to the place than just an amazing zipwire ride; quarry jumping; go off the deep end in this relentless adrenalin rush: no-holds-barred wild swimming, climbing & tombstoning. Plenty of rope-free mayhem too. Go from max G to pure freefall on the super-sized swing.

You can even get picnics & bbq's made to order! A cafe provides hot, homemade soup & fresh rolls, good coffee, strong tea, cold cans. Around the quarry you can lay out a blanket, have a picnic, enjoy the view.

Adrenalin Quarry used to be called Clicker Quarry (some locals still call it that in fact). From 1932, when it was first worked for Blue Elvin rock, to 1969, when the last drill went silent, it was a hugely important business providing much-needed employment and a vital boost to East Cornwall’s economy. For decades the quarry lay derelict until in 1986, it got its first hit of adrenalin when Clicker Trikes, now Kartworld, opened its doors to the public. In their free time, managers and staff would organise outdoor parties at another derelict quarry (they had a thing for them) – Goldiggings on Bodmin Moor – where barbecues, cliff jumping, swimming and abseiling were always on the menu.

Beware though, the zipwire can be seriously addictive! Some people have been known to have up to 25 'zips' a day!
